NCAT stands for National Creativity Aptitude Test. It is an IFEHE initiative focused on abilities such as creativity, problem solving and aptitude. The test is designed for eligible undergraduate students.
NCAT is conducted by IFEHE. NCAT information, registration, results, certificates, challenges and student resources are published through the official NCAT website.
Eligibility is published for each NCAT edition. For the current edition, participation is organised into three undergraduate categories: 1st Year, 2nd Year, and 3rd & 4th Year. Eligible programmes vary by academic year, so please check the Guidelines, Fee & Important Dates page for the complete current list.
Category 1: 1st Year undergraduate students in B.Tech, B.Engg., B.Sc., BCA, BBA and B.Com.
Category 2: 2nd Year undergraduate students in B.Tech, B.Engg., B.Sc., BCA, BBA and B.Com.
Category 3: 3rd Year students in B.Tech, B.Engg., B.Sc., BCA, BBA and B.Com, and 4th Year students in B.Tech and B.Engg.
The current published eligibility is for undergraduate students in the three categories listed above. Always use the current Guidelines page rather than older result pages to confirm eligibility for the active edition.
Yes. NCAT supports institute participation. Institutions can register through Institute Registration and follow the participation options published in the current guidelines.
For the current edition, the examination fee is Rs. 350 per student. For the latest fee and participation instructions, refer to the Examination Fee section on the Guidelines page.
Yes. The current guidelines state that Round 1 and Round 2 are conducted online.
The NCAT objective test is conducted in English.
